Well hello there! We hope you are having a fantastic week so far and getting ready for some treasure hunting….it looks like spring is finally trying to show up for us….honest! We’ve been busy bees here at the shop lately, sorting through some absolutely incredible primitive antiques that just came in. One of the things that really gets us excited, and we know a lot of you feel the same way, is when we find those big, heavy, awesome pieces of history that tell a story just by looking at them. Today, we want to talk about one of our absolute favorite categories for adding that "wow" factor to your home: vintage cast-iron trade signs.
If you’ve ever walked through an old downtown area and seen a giant wooden boot or a massive pair of glasses hanging over a doorway, you’ve seen a trade sign. But the cast-iron versions?
