Some of the Uranium Glass We Have Sold

Uranium glass catches the eye in ordinary light, but its green glow under ultraviolet light is what makes many collectors stop and look closer. This group of past Funky Junk Auctions lots includes a Mosser glass horse along with bowls, cups, pitchers, lidded pieces and decorative glassware. The photographs let you compare shapes, patterns and colour across pieces that came through our auctions near Orillia, Ontario. If you are considering a similar piece, look closely at the rim and base for chips or wear, check for any maker’s mark, and read the individual lot description for condition and measurements. A UV glow is a useful clue, but it does not establish a maker or date on its own. These pieces have sold; browse our current auctions to see what is available now.

Some of the Toy Vehicles We Have Sold

From Hot Wheels cars and Tonka trucks to miniature transporters, construction vehicles and boxed models, toy vehicles have been a lively part of our sold gallery. Collectors often look for a particular model, colour or variation, while others simply enjoy the design and the memories attached to it. These photos show the range of vehicles that have passed through Funky Junk Auctions near Orillia, Ontario, including loose toys and examples with packaging. When browsing a current lot, check the photos for paint wear, wheels and moving parts, and compare the model markings with the description. Packaging and accessories can matter to a collector, so look for what is actually included rather than assuming a toy is complete. Every auction brings a different mix; the vehicles pictured here are past sales.

Some of the Military Cap Badges and Insignia We Have Sold

These photographs bring together military cap badges and related insignia from past Funky Junk Auctions sales. You can see a variety of metal finishes, crowns, animals, maple leaves, lettering and regimental designs, including a Manitoba Dragoons badge in the group. For collectors of Canadian militaria, those small details are often the first things to study. The front tells part of the story, while the reverse, fastening and any visible marks can be just as useful when examining a specific lot. Compare the photographs carefully and use the individual auction description for condition, dimensions and identification details before bidding. This gallery is a record of pieces we have sold near Orillia, Ontario; it does not mean the same badges are available in a current auction.
