- Seeing Red: In the original comic, all four turtles wore red masks. The later color switch made it way easier for fans to tell the pizza crew apart.
- The 3,000 Copy Rarity: That first issue had a print run of only about 3,000 copies…. so yes, collectors still get a little shell-shocked over it.
- Cheese-Grater Armor: Shredder’s spiky armor was inspired by a cheese grater. Somehow that makes him both more intimidating and more kitchen-adjacent.
