The "Perruches" design, which means "Parrots" in French, was first dreamed up back in 1919 and features rows of adorable lovebirds perched on flowering branches encircling the entire vase…. and let us tell you, the detail is just breathtaking. While these come in several colors, the most RARE and sought-after version is the one made in selenium red. Creating this specific shade was a total science experiment for the glassmakers because the color is so finicky to get right in the kiln, resulting in a deep, glowing ruby hue that looks like it's lit from within!
